The concept ππππ πππππ represents a short animated observation of the cult, for centuries recurring humans need to create icons, idols, or even influencers, to whom one might look up.
The series depicts the iconostasis - the place between the mundane and the virtual - portraits of the people of the contemporary digital generation. A generation shaping its digital form to the image of a perfect version of self.
From an outside perspective, a given glorification whether in religion or on the social platforms, is presented as love. However, the icon becomes a medium leading to the observerΒ΄s divine ideal, that canΒ΄t be apparently reached by a different way. The closer we get to the perfect image of ourselves, the further we distance ourselves from who we truly are. Both the observer and the observed are transformed into participants of the trade of love .
